At NTN, inclusion is a daily commitment at the heart of our CSR strategy. During European Disability Employment Week (EDEW), which took place from 17th to 23rd November, NTN Europe reaffirmed its commitment to breaking down prejudices by offering workshops and awareness-raising activities. A week to break down prejudices about disability The national theme for the 2025 edition, ‘Disability and employment: equality for all’, resonates particularly strongly with NTN Europe (France). With 8.5% of our employees having a disability, we far exceed the legal threshold of 6%, which is concrete proof of our proactive inclusion policy.  Throughout the week, our teams (France) were able to participate in immersive and educational workshops to better understand the realities of disability:   Experience my vision: a sensory experience to understand visual impairments Experience my disability: a simulation to feel the physical constraints of everyday life Awareness-raising through mountain hiking chair testing: discovering adapted sports And, of course, DuoDay, the highlight of the week, when we open our doors to interns with disabilities to discover the reality of the ordinary world.

A day of encounters and sharing This year, NTN had the pleasure of welcoming 14 people with disabilities to its production sites and head office. Fourteen pairs were formed with our employees, allowing them to immerse themselves in our professions and values in fields as varied as export customer accounting, PEX warehouse clerk, change manager, manufacturing agent, clutch assembly grinder, IT project manager/developer, machining operator, unloading reception operator, packaging agent, Delfin operator, HR assistant, specialised assembly worker, and grinding assembly operator.  It was a day of sharing, rich in exchanges, smiles and discoveries, which allowed people to meet, share their expertise and, above all, break down prejudices.

Verbatim from Emilie B., our disability advisor NTN Europe (France) "Once again, NTN has rallied behind EDEW and DUODAY. Building on the experience of previous years, we are continuing our efforts to raise awareness and break down prejudices. Our goal is clear: to make disability a lever for social and organisational progress, in line with our values and our CSR policy. This new edition of EDEW focuses on equal opportunities and access to employment for all. Mental health, motor and visual disabilities, and disabled sports will be on the agenda this week.  Once again, DUODAY allowed us to open our doors to interns with disabilities to share our professions and working methods. This day is extremely rewarding for everyone: mobilising and uniting teams, giving meaning to one's work, sharing common values and having authentic exchanges are all benefits of DUODAY. This day acts as a lever for social cohesion and contributes to a better quality of life at work, while aligning employees with CSR objectives." Verbatim from Jocelyn V., export customer accountant at NTN Europe, participating in DuoDay NTN Europe (France) "I have been participating in DuoDay for several years now, and each time, each encounter is a moment when humanity takes precedence over everything else. I value sharing and friendliness. This Thursday with Valentin, we clicked right away and I would have liked to extend the day for another one. Valentin is curious, asks lots of questions and I even find myself no longer seeing his disability and considering him as a real colleague. We had a good laugh at lunchtime in the cafeteria, and in the evening we left together to catch our bus like two colleagues leaving work, with no difference between us, no disability!  I would like to thank NTN Europe and Emilie for making this wonderful encounter possible."

NTN Europe: a well-established disability policy  Beyond this awareness week, NTN Europe (France) has an ambitious and structured disability policy. In 2024, a new disability agreement was renegotiated, strengthening our commitment in two major areas: The fight against all forms of discrimination Integration and job retention Thanks to a dedicated internal structure, we adapt workstations to meet the specific needs of our employees, focusing on prevention, ergonomics and personalised support.
