I already see a lot of parallels between humanoid actuators and automotive active suspension actuators. With L3+ autonomous vehicles in our future, comfort requirements are increasing and approaching humanoid actuators in the legs and arms from a requirements standpoint. can think of a few other applications that would have similar requirements for actuator bandwidth, back drivability, safe state, etc.
